ransport Planner - Luton Hours of work Monday - Friday 07:30 - 18:30 HRGO are recruiting for our well-established client based in Luton. We are looking for a transport planner to work as part as a two-man team in a busy transport office. Purpose - To ensure the cost effective and efficient planning and routing of the depots vehicles and drivers. Main duties: -Planning and routing -Driver debriefing -Resource allocation -Tachographs -Record keeping -Compliance -Fuel Management The ideal candidate for this role should have: -Proven experience in a Traffic Operator/Transport Planning role; -Computer Literate with emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel and have the ability to compile, analyse, interpret relevant statistical data; -Good verbal communication skills; -Ability to use initiative to think through problems to find solutions; -Literate with good written communication skills; Numerate in application of number skills -Ability to work to targets and deadlines -Ability to motivate, supervise and support staff and manual operatives If you are interested please APPLY NOW or call Francesca on 01604239066
