We are currently seeking to recruit a Day Shift Transport Planner to work with our Client on a temp to perm basis. This vacancy is a to work within the Clients Transport Manager. Duties to include; . light4 Main duty planning of routeslight0 booking drivers vendors collections Checking drivers into site and issuing with paperwork/allocated deliveries and collections for the shift. Reporting any vehicle faults after pre-inspection checks, allocating alternative vehicles if required. Liaising with Customer sites and drivers regarding delays etc.. Accident reporting where necessary Driver de-briefs Completion of trailer reports at the end of the drivers duty Adding driver run sheet details to database Handover to day team Other general administration duties Due to the nature of the role it would be preferred that all Candidates have previous Transport experience in a similar role however, for the right Candidate full training will be provided. light4 Hours of work 6am to 2pm Days of work; Monday - Friday light4 Pay rate whilst with the agency; 12.50 per hour light4 Permanent Salary between GBP26000 per annumlight0 .
